That's when available Reverse Brake Assist can be helpful.* During the daytime and when the weather is clear, the system can detect a stationary object, a vehicle crossing, or a pedestrian or cyclist behind you and provide an audible alert. The cross-traffic alert warning can even provide a visual display in the message center showing the direction a vehicle is coming from on a street or parking lot. Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go

Available Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go detects traffic slowing ahead. It can bring the Expedition SUV to a complete stop, and you can accelerate back up to the preset speed if the vehicle in front moves forward. This system can utilize the forward-facing camera to perform Speed Sign Recognition to identify the speed limit of the road. It will then update the set speed to the new speed limit, plus or minus the driver's preference.*
